The world’s well-known Paris Christmas lights returned to grace the French capital on Sunday night.

Colored bulbs, luminous arches and glowing projections adorned the streets of the Ville Lumière alongside the Champs-Elysées, Avenue Montaigne, Place Vendôme, Montmartre district and Bercy Village.

The lights, which had been switched on by singer Louane, will keep on till January 6, from 5pm to 2am, and all night time from December 24 to December 31.

The ceremony befell nevertheless in a smaller scale, as town stays nevertheless beneath strict lockdown restrictions resulting from COVID-19 pandemic.

Transferring round is allowed just for important journeys and meals buying, and other people have been inspired to work at home.
